Playtech-powered TitanPoker.com has announced the premiere of a new bounty tournament series that is giving players the chance to go head-to-head against pros including Sorel Mizzi, Sam Trickett, Jonas Klausen and Marvin Rettenmaier.
The new weekly Team Titan Bounty tournaments have a buy-in of six dollars and will award players that knock out any one of the seven Team Titan members with a $100 cash prize.
Team Titan also includes Yann Brosolo, Florian Desgouttes and Joel Benzinou with the Antigua-licensed online poker site stating that it has also added an additional $500 to each bounty tournament as a way of increasing the excitement.
The top players in each weekly bounty tournament will join those that have knocked out a Team Titan member in a heads-up qualifier on November 1 with the best five from this event advancing to face a professional for the chance to take home ‘additional prizes’.
“Team Titan members recently enjoyed huge successes at the 2010 World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas, cashing out in a number of the events,” read a statement from TitanPoker.com.
“Sam Trickett finished in second place in the $5,000 no-limit hold’em event 17 for a prize of $505,725. In addition, Trickett had five other cash outs for a grand total of $693,827.
“Sorel Mizzi finished in the money in events 21 and 26, pocketing just over $37,000, while Marvin Rettenmaier from Germany cashed out in four events taking home more than $88,000.
“Jonas Klausen from Denmark won $8,735 in event 51 while Yann Brosolo from France cashed out in events 51 and 56 for over $12,000 in prizes.”
