February 2 – The International Casino Exhibition (ICE) held annually is the perfect place for online software companies to showcase their new games and products. This year’s event, held in London last week, introduced the industry to a number of quality new online slot titles, giving visitors a peek at the excellent year ahead of us.
Several companies announced their intention to produce mini versions of their most popular slots and table games to further the gaming enjoyment of their gamblers, while companies such as Wagerworks, Microgaming and Cryptologic outlined the new games that have recently hit online casinos (or will do so in the near future).
Visitors to the ICE event were met by illustrations presented by Wagerworks of its two brand new soon-to-be released games entitled Dungeons and Dragons: Fortress of Fortunes and Battleship: Search and Destroy. The navy themed Battleships promises to wow players with two exciting bonus rounds, while the five reel, 20 payline Dungeons and Dragons offers up to 180 free spins in an exciting games package.
Wagerworks also promised to release at least three new titles: MegaJackpots Cleopatra, Lil’ Lady and Triple Fortune Dragon.
Microgaming which releases, on average, four new games a month, celebrated the launch of its highly innovative new game, My Slots, which allows the ultimate in personalization.
Betsoft explained the latest developments from this UK based company, showcasing the 3D video slot game Heist, which keeps players entertained with three bonus rounds in this bank robbery themed game. Betsoft also said that it would be upgrading its popular Aztec Adventure slot game.
Finally, Cryptologic showcased its own list of new releases, including Call of Duty, based on the famous video game, the fifty line Samba Nights and the quirky Penguins in Paradise.
