Nevada Legislators Vote for State Lottery
Nevada, another place which is popular for the online gambling has decided to relook at their regulations which relates to the lottery. The main reason was that the current regulations which available are out dated and needs to be revised according to the new requirements. Since these laws, are outdated, there were lots of gaps. So as a solution for this, the lawmakers of Nevada decided to revise them with relevant to the current requirements and now they have completed the changes.
So now these lawmakers have submitted them to the senate to debate on them and get the approval in order to keep them in order.

With poker pro Daniel Negreanu confessing to having flu-like symptoms, it’s just a matter of time before others playing along side the Canadian poker pro come down with a similar illness. Proving that old dogs can learn new tricks, longtime Seven-card Stud expert Jeffrey Lisandro has thus far added three 2009 WSOP bracelets and six cashes to his arsenal of awards, and the Iceman’s not done yet. Lisandro’s three bracelets have been won in his signature events: Seven-card Stud (Event 16), Seven-Card Stud H/L-8 (Event 37), and Razz (Event 44). But the stud master has also posted cashes in PL Omaha and PL Omaha H/L Split, making him a formiddable sight at almost any table. Lisandro’s three wins and six cashes have catapulted him to the top of the POY leaderboard, displacing Ville Wahlbeck who held the lead for the majority of the series. Poker Author David Slansky’s Home Robbed
Respected poker author and theorist David Sklansky’s home took a bad beat as it was burglarized last night. Hopefully nothing with too much +EV was snatched. As well as a top authority on blackjack and betting, the bearded maestro’s Theory of Poker book is considered the holy grail of poker literature. Having compiled over 12 books, which he promotes on the twoplustwo forums, Sklansky’s appearances on the poker tournament circuit are now few and far between.
There’s been an ugly spate of robberies in the Valley, with David the latest victim. In an interview with KVBC news group in Vegas, Sklansky managed to sneak in a little promotion of the twoplustwo forum he admins.

Rick Parry to head UK government advisory panel on sports gambling
The British government’s Sports Minister, Gerry Sutcliffe, has reacted to fears regarding the danger of gambling corruption in sport by setting up an advisory panel headed by former Liverpool football chief executive Rick Parry, reports the Daily Telegraph.
“I am delighted that Rick Parry has agreed to lead this vitally important work,” said Sutcliffe.

A number of antsy customers of Heroes Sportsbook out of Curacao have been posting on the Sportsbook Review forum that they are waiting weeks for payment.
Gambling911.com was also provided with information related to the old "bait and switch":
A client made a bet on the Rockets against the Lakers for what he thought was one of the playoff games. The ticket below clearly say it was a GAME wager not a SERIES wager. The bet never got graded as a winner after the game was over and he was told it was a series wager instead.

MGM Mirage Continues Global Expansion with New Casino in Egypt

LAS VEGAS, Nevada –- MGM Mirage likes to think big.
It is building the largest privately funded project in U.S. history on the Strip, but the company
isn’t stopping there.
The gaming giant on Tuesday announced its latest push to spread its name around the world, this time through a partnership to build an MGM Grand nongaming luxury hotel near Cairo, Egypt.
MGM Grand New Giza will be a 550-room hotel that will be part of a 1,500-acre master-planned community. The community will include homes, three hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, golf courses and other sports facilities.
Construction of the project, which is expected to open in 2013, will be financed by New Giza for Real Estate Development Co.
