I had the chance to sit down again with a girlfriend of mine – Christina Lindley. We sat down last year for our first interview and have stayed in contact since then. The last time I was able to hang out with this awesome and talented woman was when we were having cocktails and lunch on Lincoln Road during her layover in Miami. Since then, her schedule has been a busy one which included her first WSOP, where she ended up going pretty deep. JENNY: You recently played at the first WSOP Dream Team Poker event. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. What was the name of your team? And tell our readers about that experience. CHRISTINA: The name of our team was called Six Hands, Four Nutz, and a Rack On Tilt. (Haha) It (Read the full post about ‘Poker Babe Christina Lindley on 2009 WSOP and Jewelry’…)

Rep. Heath Shuler (D-N.C.), a former Washington Redskins quarterback, was among three members of Congress who sent a joint letter to Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. urging him to scrutinize efforts to legalize sports betting in Delaware and New Jersey. The letter, dated Tuesday and also signed by Rep. Gregory W. Meeks (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), says the states’ efforts "threaten to permit expanded sports gambling and as a consequence threaten the integrity of our national pastimes." The letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Washington Post, says the Congressmen "encourage the Department of Justice to defend the federal prohibition against sports betting and take any actions necessary to safeguard amateur and professional sports." So much for the controversy involving pirated music download company, Zookz.com, claiming it can operate freely from the Caribbean nation of Antigua without reprecussions. For casino gamblers in Delaware, sports betting may begin on the same day. Delaware gaming officials said Wednesday they plan to have sports betting ready in time for the NFL season. Jeff Shulman to Renounce WSOP Bracelet If He Wins

WickedChopsPoker.com is reporting that Card Player Magazine editor, Jeff Shulman, has said he will "renounce the WSOP bracelet" should he win the 2009 World Series of Poker. He plans to throw the bracelet in the garbage. We had been hearing from multiple sources for days that Shulman is saying that if he were to win the 2009 WSOP Main Event, he’d renounce the bracelet as he believes that Harrah’s has treated his magazine unfairly in recent years. We just asked Shulman on the first break if this was true, to which he replied, "If by renounce it you mean throw it in the garbage, then yes." Harrah’s entered into an exclusivity deal with Bluff Magazine, a Card Player Magazine competitor, to provide coverage of the World Series of Poker events. UFC 100 betting odds varied across the board. There were several big payouts to be had with any number of upsets. Paulo Thiago would pay out around $400 for every $100 bet at Bookmaker.com should he upset Jon Fitch (-400 odds most establishments). Some online gambling websites had Thiago paying under $300 for every $100 bet with a win. Jake O’Brien would pay out $300 for every $100 bet at Sportsinteraction.com should he manage a win over Jon Jones. This line was pretty consistent across the board. Another big underdog with potential to pay out big was Mark Coleman ($300 for every $100 bet at Bookmaker.com). Of the main cards, Thiago Alves was being offered up at +260 odds at SBG Global for a payout possibility of $260 on every $100 bet. Fr (Read the full post about ‘UFC 100 Betting Odds (Best Odds)’…)
