January 31 – Playtech was founded in 1999 and develops online and land-based gambling software. The company targets customers who want to improve their game offering, sportsbooks wanting to offer alternate products, and land based operators who want to make the move into online gaming.
Playtech currently employs over 750 staff all over the world and the amazing thing is that 75% of them work in Research and Development.
